Sphere: V = (4/3)πr³

Cylinder: V = πr²h

Cone: V = (1/3)πr²h

Cube: V = s³

Rectangular prism: V = l × w × h

Relationship between shapes

A cone is exactly 1/3 the volume of a cylinder with the same base and height. A hemisphere is 2/3 the volume of the circumscribed cylinder. These relationships were first proven by Archimedes.
