Times table generator
Generate the multiplication table for any number. Great for studying and memorizing multiplication facts.
Why learn times tables?
Multiplication tables are the foundation of math. Knowing them by heart makes division, fractions, algebra, and everyday calculations much faster. Most curricula expect students to memorize tables up to 12×12.
Tips for memorizing
Patterns: The 9× table digits always sum to 9 (9, 18, 27, 36...). The 5× table always ends in 0 or 5. The 11× table repeats the digit up to 9 (11, 22, 33...).
Commutative property: 7×8 = 8×7. If you know one, you know both — cutting the memorization work nearly in half.
Practice daily: Even 5 minutes of daily practice builds permanent recall.
Hardest multiplication facts
Research shows the hardest facts for students are: 6×7=42, 6×8=48, 7×8=56, 8×9=72, and 6×9=54. Focus extra practice on these.
