Solve equations involving sin, cos, tan and their inverses. Shows all solutions in one period and the general solution.

Equation

Isolate the trig function, then use inverse trig to find the reference angle. Account for all solutions in the period.

sin(x) = 0.5: x = π/6 and x = 5π/6 in [0, 2π). General: x = π/6 + 2nπ or x = 5π/6 + 2nπ.

sin(30°)=½, sin(45°)=√2/2, sin(60°)=√3/2. cos has same values in reverse. tan(45°)=1, tan(60°)=√3.
