Simply read the number backwards. 12345 → 54321. 9876 → 6789. If the result equals the original, it's a palindrome.
Interesting fact
Take any two-digit number, reverse it, and subtract the smaller from larger — the result is always divisible by 9. Example: 72 − 27 = 45 (divisible by 9).
