Number of flips

Fair coin: P(heads) = P(tails) = 1/2. Multiple flips are independent.

P(n heads in a row) = (1/2)ⁿ. 3 heads: 1/8 = 12.5%. 10 heads: 1/1024 ≈ 0.1%.

Over many flips, the proportion of heads approaches 50%. But each flip is still 50/50 regardless of history.
